Violins, Violas, Cellos

I was born in Naples in 1982 and I moved to Sesto Cremonese in 1992. In 2000 I graduated from the violinmaking school "Antonio Stradivari" in Cremona under the guidance of masters Massimo Negroni and Wanna Zambelli. For five years I worked perfecting the style and techniques of workmanship under the guidance of master Daniele Tonarelli. In 2006 I opened a workshop in Sesto Cremonese a few kilometers from Cremona. My work is inspired by classical Cremonese violinmaking, paying close attention to the choice of materials and the tonal qualities of the sound. I use both spirit and oil-based varnishes, which are transparent and glossy. In 2006, 2009 and 2012, I participated in the triennial "Antonio Stradivari" international competition for stringed instruments. In 2008 I participated in the II National Violinmaking Competition "Citta' di Pisogne" with a violin, winning a bronze medal. I am part of the Consortium of Violinmakers "Antonio Stradivari" of Cremona and licensee of the brand "Cremona Liuteria". I am a member of the "Associazione Liutaria Italiana" (A.L.I.).
