Andrea Cabrini after his graduation from the Antonio Stradivari International School of Violin Making in Cremona in 1991, worked for four years with Maestro Bissolotti and his sons. He later worked under the guidance of Pierangelo Balzarini and Alessandro Tossani. He follows the traditional Cremonese working method, drawing inspiration from the models of Antonio Stradivari, Guarneri ‘del Gesù’, and Nicolò Amati regarding the construction of violins, Stradivari for violas, and Guadagnini, Rogeri, and Guarneri for cellos. He dedicates significant attention to acoustic research, constantly striving to improve. Initially, he used alcohol-oil varnishes, later switching permanently to oil varnish, as found on classical instruments.
