Emanuele Francioli was born in Novara in October 26th, 1981. After obtaining his high school diploma (Liceo Scientifico), he studied violin making at the Civica Scuola di Liuteria in Milan, where he graduated in 2007 with an apprenticeship on cello building and setup in the atelier of maestro Dario Segala, with whom he still cooperates nowadays. In the same year he attended a violin restoration workshop with Carlos Arcieri at the Accademia Perosi in Biella.

Emanuele Francioli lives and works in Novara, where, beside the building modern bowed intruments.Since 2009 he collaborates with the Dedalo School of Music in Novara. He is member of the professional association A.L.I. since 2010.
