Fendillo Alessandro was born in Cremona in 1989. In 2003 he attended Violinmaking International School in Cremona, where he started studying string instruments’ construction and restoration, in particular violins, violas and cellos. During that period he changed different teachers to learn different working and construction methods.  He started off with M° Giorgio Cè, then with Luca Bellini, whereas the fourth year he  attended the restoration course with M° Alessandro Voltini in order to learn also the basis of restoration and the routine maintenance of important musical ancient instruments .
In 2008 after having graduated he started apprenticeship at M° Stefano Conia’s well-known workshop, where he made and repaired the first musical instruments out of the school. At the end of 2009 he moved to my ex school M° Luca Bellini’s workshop, where he began to find his own personality on a stylistic level, trying to hone the sound of his instruments. He made on classical models from Cremona of the late ‘600 and the first years of the ‘700, such as Amati, Stradivari and Guarneri and with particular attention to the classical italians of the first years of the XX° century, such as Ornati and Garimberti.
He opened my own workshop in street Del Giordano 121 in Cremona.
