He opened his own workshop in 1984 after completing his studies and after some years apprenticeship and working in some great italian andf rench masters' workshops. Mainly he makes guitars and hurdy-gurdys following the classical models or his own inspiration. He combines a careful choise of the woods with an attentive study of the forms and a careful violinmaking method to reach the equilibrium and the sound that musicians are looking for.
These are a few example of the latest constructive techniques: studies and theories on wood acoustic, humidity control, carbon fibres components, vacum gluing.
In 1984 he won the 3rd prize with a hurdy-gurdy and in 1986 the 1st prize with a classical guitar at the National Violinmaking Exhibition of Bagnacavallo.
In 1993 in Spain he was at the JL. Romanillos' workshop on Cordobas Guitar Festival where he work over the traditional Spanish Classicai Guitar. In 1993 also he won the lst prize and speciai prize 'Premio Baveno" at the lst International Classical Guitar Competition of Baverno.
